Taking the Day Off

After traveling and putting together new accounts in Knoxville and Chattanooga I decided to take the day off. Needed one good day to relax and unwind. So I got up and decided to take the bike to Midsouth Motoplex for it's 12k service, although I only had 11k on it. I needed a new front tire and I want to ride it to work now that the weather is getting nice.
As Stacy was going to pick up Emma for our normal baby sitting day, I dropped the bike off as Stacy circled back and picked me up. Being a normal morning, I was starving, so the three of us went to Moss' for breakfast. After we ate, it was back home to play. I have a golf ball rack that houses two dozen balls that I have collected from the places I have played. This means nothing to Emma who loves to take the balls out of the rack and put them into a huge fishbowl. She does this even though she has a ton of toys up in the bonus room.
After she was finished playing with the golf balls, we started wrestling around the floor. We were playing and having a lesson of ears, eyes and nose. She soon tired of this and like most of the women in my family zoned in on sometime of value.
At first I could not make out what she was playing with and I was asking her to bring it to me so I could see what it wasThis caused a quick game of hide from Pop what I got.

Like grandmother, like mom, like daughter and now granddaughter, she had my money clip.
Sometime mid morning, Stacy and Emma went to fairgrounds park to play while I remained at home catching up on a few things. Then Emma's momma came from classes at APSU to pick her up and Stacy and I were off to Mason Rudolph for a round of golf.
Mason Rudolph is going though a transformation, a new pro shop and club house is being built.

On going construction to the club house.
As I blogged earlier about this empty nest, I went to check on it. Momma bird was sitting on the nest and when I approached, she flew to the next tree screaming. So I took these photos of these beautiful blue eggs.

So spring has come, again, and the bike is ready for the road trips of summer.
