Spring Time

Spring is my second favorite time of the year. Fall is my favorite. Spring is when those dormant things come back to life. It's also the time of year for my favorite holiday, Easter. He is risen.
So today I decided to take a day of not doing much of anything and just relax. The only plan I had was to have lunch with Stacy.
So I had a few errands to run and ended up at Ft. Campbell and looked in on my granddaughter Emma. I got a big hug and a smile and my heart melted.
After my Emma visit, I was off to meet Stacy for lunch but had some time to kill. I stopped off at Rural King on the bypass. While I was walking around I kept hearing chirping, but there is always a bird inside the store so I thought nothing of it.
There we huge bins of little birds, birds of all kinds, baby hens, chickens and ducks.
So I had to get up close and personal with these little guys, hopefully they will not end up at Tyson's, Purdue, Zaxby's or KFC.
We have several bird's nest in the trees on the side and back yard this year.
I really like the spring colors on the trees and the rich green hues of the grass.I ordered and got my Tombstone back rest support bag today in the mail, so I put it on and went for a ride. As stopped by the Mid-South Motoplex on Huntco to schedule a service before riding season begins. I was told by the service manager that Clarksville was under a tornado warning and that I should get home. I got home just in time before the lightning and rain started.

So I sat on the deck and enjoyed a nice Cuban while I felt the wind and a slight mist against my skin.
I have decided that I need a bigger garden this year, so I expanded it by 2/3 and should be ready for planting this weekend.
