We met up with Lisa and Emma at the OG this morning. Lisa picked up a shift, so we got to have Emma hang with us all day. Emma got into her car seat and she got ready for our normal Saturday routine.
Strapped into her backseat car seat and ready to go, she gives me the eyes, a slight pout, and says, "Poppy, money." Then, she puts her hand out and repeats her request, "Poppy, money."
I said, "What?"
Emma responds with, "Peeze, Poppy, money."
So, as Stacy explained it, "She said please, give your grand baby some money." So now, I'm being shaken down by another generation of women in this family.
