Kayak Trip 12/21/09

Ok, this is where I am starting this years kayak trip. Billy Dunlop Park in Clarksville TN. It's a long and curvy route on the Red River, then connecting to the Cumberland behind Two Rivers Mall. Based on my calculations, it's a 2 to 3 day trip.

I have not been on this part of the river before, and Google Maps is sketchy. But if you never try something, you will never know if you can do it.

There will be some shallow points and some areas where I will have to carry my gear, but it's all about the journey.

Stacy would like me to take someone with me, but I have yet to find anyone who will do this with me. Go figure.

Life is what you make it, take some chances, make some choices, just have some fun.
