Nashville City Cemetery

I got bored with looking out my window at the ladies of Murfreesboro Road this afternoon and decided to get out of the office. I started Geocaching earlier this year and it has taken me to some interesting and historic places.
These photos were taken at the Nashville City Cemetery. Lots of Nashville's and the country's historic figures are buried here. I was surprised at who is here, some confederate, some union, but make no mistake, all American.
William Carroll, Governor of Tennessee for 12 years.
Some of the grounds.
Richard Ewell-Died 1872 (Google all of this-cool)

I love old cemeteries!! I know its weird, but it is a hobby of mine. My kids reminisce fondly of the time we took a picnic to one!!
