Father's Day started out quiet and remained that way for the rest of the day. I got up early, grabbed some coffee and started out looking for a few geocaches. After I found them I stopped off at the 7-11 to get Stacy some blueberry coffee.

We attended the Pomerado Christian Church in Escondido, the same church Andi was married in the day before. The Pastor, Evan Foote lives next door to my brother and it's a wonder story of salvation for my family. One day I will share it here.
Stacy and my "much" older brother Nick looking a Gunner's BMW.
After church we headed the short distance to National City to La Vista Memorial Gardens. This is where my dad is laid to rest. Yes, this is a mariachi band playing in the background. I have never seen a mariachi bank play anywhere but a Mexican restaurant. But here they were, walking and playing for tips to whoever visited a late loved one.
Playing for the next group of mourners.
Once back at home, Stacy and Nick set out getting the goodies ready for lunch and the BBQ (grilling) to follow.
Nick, Jerry and Stacy enjoying noting but the day.
