During my travels, I have been geocaching and one of my favorite places to search is old grave yards in historic parts of the towns I visit.
This is the Ramsey Cemetery in Cleveland TN, there is a lot of the Wade family buried here. One of the principals to geocaching is "pack it out." This means always clean up anyplace that you go into or "pack it out". I ended up taking the fast food waste I found here with me when I left.
If you want to learn some history about where you live, visit the local grave yards and just read some of the markers.Anyway, people are dying to get into these places, yet few visit. That's why when I go I want to be scattered around all the local Mexican restaurants in Clarksville, so I know Stacy will visit me.

I take my kids on picnics to old cemeteries! Is that wrong? Anyway, I love them--so much history. I always wanted to write a book about headstones. The symbols, the sayings, etc. Maybe someday!
You missed your calling Frank . . .
